About Catherine Towns Miller
Catherine Towns Miller is a veteran performer with twenty-seven years experience. She has studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music and is a graduate of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. There she studied with John Kochanowski, Kathryn Plummer and members of the Blair String Quartet. She has been teaching private violin, viola and fiddle lessons in the Cleveland, OH area for the last twelve years.
She is a versatile artist, able to teach and perform classical, Irish, bluegrass, Scottish, and jazz music. In recent years, she has performed at all manner of functions, including but not limited to weddings, funerals, corporate functions, local classical orchestral concerts, old-time ice cream socials, church and temple services, and folk jam sessions.
